{WOMAN OF FAITH - FASHION} SHE IS CLOTHED WITH STRENGTH AND DIGNITY

{WOF - FASHION}
SHE IS CLOTHED WITH STRENGTH AND DIGNITY

As some of you may know, I help my husband to teach about Jesus and share the Words of God throughout the world but I have a job too in the fashion business industry.
But I am not the typical "fashion" girl who wears small skirt with high heels. No I am the type of woman who likes to wear clothes because they are both nice and comfy; and I respect myself and my body (ok, I have to admit that my "péché-mignon" are shoes. I love shoes : sport shoes, luxury shoes, nautical shoes.... I have a lot and a lot of them at home.... But I always wear the same....yeah....).
For my "office outfit" and as I am lucky enough to work in the sport business unit, I am free to wear what I want to wear. I wear long skirt or maxidress during the summer time but most of the time I wear jeans or trousers (I only wear skirt or short when I am with my hubby).

Nowadays in the fashion industry I see a lot of women wearing short skirts or short shorts showing everything! (and by everything I mean everything....) Please respect yourselves!
We live in a world where humility and dignity doesn't mean anything for the majority of women.
And the worst part is when I saw some mothers bought "inappropriate" clothes for their daughters (little bikinis, small skirt, small short, small dress that shows everything too....), but their daughters only have 09 or 11 years old! And this just because it is "IN/ IT" or because of this famous singer is wearing the same outfit.... (don't be wrong I like fashion but I am older enough to know what I am wearing in respecting myself and my body).
When I saw young girls walking on the streets, sometimes I think "Do her mother know that her daughter dress like that or go to school in these clothes?".... Sometimes I am just feeling lost and sad because in this world where even there is less and less respect for women, women doesn't respect themselves....
Please remember that you are a mother. You have to be an example for your children as you are the one who teach the true meanings of the words respect, humility and dignity to them! Teach your daughter to respect herself as a future woman!
As a Christian woman, I think that we have to remember this {Proverbs 31:25}: 'She is clothed in strengh and dignity".
Teach your children to love God, to recognize Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Encourage them to read the Bible and meditate the Words everyday. Teach them discipline and respect.
Encourage your daughter to fight for her rights as a woman by the respect of herself.
Teach your daughter to be a "virtuous woman with a noble character who is clothed with strength and dignity". A woman who fears the Lord.

{Proverbs 31:10-31}

A wife of noble character who can find?
    She is worth far more than rubies.
11 Her husband has full confidence in her
    and lacks nothing of value.
12 She brings him good, not harm,
    all the days of her life.
13 She selects wool and flax
    and works with eager hands.
14 She is like the merchant ships,
    bringing her food from afar.
15 She gets up while it is still night;
    she provides food for her family
    and portions for her female servants.
16 She considers a field and buys it;
    out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
17 She sets about her work vigorously;
    her arms are strong for her tasks.
18 She sees that her trading is profitable,
    and her lamp does not go out at night.
19 In her hand she holds the distaff
    and grasps the spindle with her fingers.
20 She opens her arms to the poor
    and extends her hands to the needy.
21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household;
    for all of them are clothed in scarlet.
22 She makes coverings for her bed;
    she is clothed in fine linen and purple.
23 Her husband is respected at the city gate,
    where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.
24 She makes linen garments and sells them,
    and supplies the merchants with sashes.
25 She is clothed with strength and dignity;
    she can laugh at the days to come.
26 She speaks with wisdom,
    and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
27 She watches over the affairs of her household
    and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise and call her blessed;
    her husband also, and he praises her:
29 “Many women do noble things,
    but you surpass them all.”
30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
    but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
31 Honor her for all that her hands have done,
    and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
God bless you.
